The Annual Conference is an important, international event in the academic research calendar for those involved with global arts and humanities. In addition to research panels, the Annual Conference is open to a range of different exhibitors, including academic publishers, independent publishers, magazines and other educational or cultural organisations and businesses who are keen to engage with art and art history.
Taking place online over four days the 2021 Annual Conference will host speakers from around the world, and across multiple disciplines. The Annual Conference connects over 500 delegates, speakers and publishers including international keynotes, academics, curators, researchers and postgraduate students with and for art history.
Exhibitors are a key part of the Annual Conference as it is a perfect occasion for them to engage directly with delegates who are at the forefront of today’s art history and visual culture.
As well as an opportunity to sell publications to a specific audience, having a virtual stand at the Annual Conference gives commissioning editors a chance to talk with delegates about publishing research through our ‘meet the editor’ slots, opportunities to launch new books/series, or simply a chance to expand networks and contacts.
No other annual event for art history in the UK offers the breadth and quality of research, in one place, at one time. 2021 will be our biggest Annual Conference to date, with over 60 selected sessions and over 350 selected papers.
